The Petrifex Elite: Studio Painting Recipes
November 2024·p. 27
THE SHORT VERSION
The studio’s Petrifex Elite combine grey bone, lighter bone and exposed underlying material to distinguish the parts of their constructed bodies. Diluting the same grey wash produces the lighter surface, while drybrushing establishes highlights. Red armour, blue cloth and patinated bronze supply readable points of colour around the skeletal mass.
