Starting from a Dark Undercoat
November 2024·p. 26
THE SHORT VERSION
The dark-undercoat examples contrast classic cream drybrushing with ancient grey bone, washed zenithal light and burning skeletons. Cyan armour recalls Tomb Kings, purple weapons suggest Shyish, and weathered metal makes the zenithal figure sinister. The Crematorian example builds a yellow-orange core beneath a blackened outer shell, turning a skeleton into a walking pyre.
