Scott Pirie’s Blood Axe Combat Patrol attacks Paul Foulkes’s winter-equipped Astra Militarum in the ruins of Deltek. The Guard’s artillery strike delays the charge and their returning infantry refuse to stay dead, but fixation on the resilient Ork Warboss lets the Boyz seize objectives and leaves the Deff Dread free to dismantle the defence.
