Brush Tips: Imperial Fists
September 2023·p. 59
THE SHORT VERSION
Chris Innes starts the Imperial Fists with a bright warm yellow and uses very thin glazes to describe the volume of the armour. He stresses preserving room for the darker panel lining instead of darkening every shaded area too far, then builds the highlights through brighter yellows to tiny white accents.
