Painting an Aegis Defence Line

September 2023·pp. 33–34

THE SHORT VERSION

A neutral grey spray establishes the Aegis Defence Line quickly, followed by thinned brown and grey washes to dirty the structure. Sponge damage, dust at ground level and rust around rivets provide texture without painstaking detail, and the same weathering sequence is demonstrated over several coloured undercoats for different settings.
