Mortarion, the Pale King

THE SHORT VERSION

A limited pale palette and tiny stippled highlights give Mortarion’s armour a textured finish. Faded green trim and orange-copper non-metallic areas provide restrained contrast, while rust, cracked paint and dirty earth from the base carry onto the figure to make him belong in his unhealthy surroundings.
