Magnus defends Prospero through surging sorcery above a broken temple base. Damien balances believable red flesh, controlled gold and rich turquoise, using blue shadows and a unifying crimson glaze so that the elaborate miniature remains coherent despite its numerous strongly contrasting surfaces.
