Keith contrasts pale sun-bleached skin with a glossy black carapace and raw-looking flesh weapons. A light spray makes the pale surfaces manageable, controlled crimson shading defines the recesses and the deliberately different finishes help the large organism’s body, shell and symbiotic guns remain visually distinct.
