Additional Necron advancement tables give Destroyer Cults, Flayed Ones, Triarch Praetorians and Titanic units more specialised identities. Damage overrides, improved reanimation, territorial defence and terrifying auras let campaign veterans develop according to their battlefield role while still following the core Crusade rules for honours and points.

Location Hazards and Illusory Gains

Each Harrowdeep location imposes a different battlefield disadvantage and offers a choice of reward cards. A warband’s treasure hoard can temporarily modify its Rivals deck, but lost games may send rewards to an opponent, turning route selection and deck adjustments into an interconnected risk rather than a permanent upward march in power.
