THE SHORT VERSION
Daniel Brescia combines airbrushed red-orange transitions with deep purple-red shadows across Smaug’s enormous body. A warm pale underbelly and carefully defined scales separate different textures, using the dragon’s size to create rich colour changes while retaining a unified fiery appearance.
