Painting Question: The Houses of Rohan

THE SHORT VERSION

The studio’s Rohan buildings use airbrushed greys and pale browns to differentiate timber, walls and straw. Diluted sepia, green and black weathering glazes soften the clean colours, allowing a group of houses to look settled into the landscape rather than freshly built.
