Basing Masterclass: Creating Bases for Armies
January 2020·pp. 120–121
THE SHORT VERSION
Paul Claridge builds a ruined sandstone city beneath his Black Legion, using cut plasticard, Sector Imperialis scraps, gravel and sand. Larger daemon engines receive more elaborate compositions, with flat, secure mounting points and scenery arranged to frame the miniature; separate painting recipes cover masonry and metalwork.
