Kal Jerico and hired companions are ambushed by Delaque and Goliath gangs while Orlock allies rush to intervene. Darkness, dangerous falls and chaotic close fights repeatedly threaten the escape, but Kal’s improbable survival and the defenders’ distractions carry him off the battlefield with only a single wound remaining.
