Ben Greaves builds a huge Iron Warriors and Mechanicum collection through successive event deadlines, each encouraging a different force. A pre-Heresy crusade narrative permits both future loyalists and traitors, with shared metallic colours and different markings distinguishing the allied machines.
Conversions range from an Onager-based Archmagos to stripped-down speeders and a Reaver Titan. Ben favours practical drybrushing, painting before competitive results and the friendships of the event circuit, while admitting that repeated experience often produces strong armies.
