THE SHORT VERSION

Tom Moore paints Morathi in separate parts, beginning with gold and distinguishing the bright lining from the darker cloak through different highlight colours. Carefully layered hair, pale skin, glazed metal, green gems and a glossy heart contrast with a drybrushed stone base whose strokes follow the stair edges.
