Max Faleij combines bionics, an Apothecary backpack and a modified servo-skull while keeping the model recognisably a line warrior. Subtle reflected warmth beneath cool overhead light animates the black armour, and small screens and personal heraldry introduce colour; the judges reward its composition, detail and virtuoso finish.
