Martin Grandbarbe recreates the spirit and several specific conversion ideas of John Blanche’s old Sisters of Battle sketches. Difficult metal conversions become a Puritan Inquisitor, surviving Battle Sister, zealots, a Tech-adept and a blind religious adviser, unified by hot colours, rusted metals and saturated artist inks.
