The Brimfire Ritual

THE SHORT VERSION

Matt Hutson’s Stormcast attack Dan Harden’s Khorne-held Pyrevault Redoubt to stop a summoning ritual. Though Stardrakes and Tempestors devastate the defenders and Vandus reaches the dais, he cannot destroy it until the next hero phase; Dan completes the ritual first with only two Blood Warriors left, demonstrating the primacy of scenario objectives over casualties.
