Painting Palace Guards
December 2013·pp. 110–111
THE SHORT VERSION
Dan paints the ornate armour gold before filling its larger panels, saving the need to trace every tiny filigree. A translucent green layer tints silver without concealing its metallic finish. Related browns and beiges unite shields, veils and cloaks. The leather tunics explicitly follow the Ranger recipe, extending that limited palette across both units.
