THE SHORT VERSION

Fourteen figures recreate Bilbo and the Dwarves escaping in wine barrels. Wet hair, familiar faces and attempts to paddle capture the dangerous river journey. Dwalin’s anger contrasts with Balin’s relaxed expression. Thorin steers with a branch while Bilbo perches above his barrel to watch over the company.
