PAINTING·WHITE DWARF 407

Nihilakh Oxide

November 2013·p. 117

THE SHORT VERSION

Andrew treats copper-alloy decay differently from iron rust. A blue-green wash settles into recesses and leaves a pale patina over the surrounding surface. Reapplying metallic paint restores selected areas where the original copper should show. A Death Guard Marine and Leigh Woosey’s Sartosan Vampire illustrate combinations of the new effects.
