Eye Lenses, Muzzle Burn and Battle Damage
September 2013·p. 115
THE SHORT VERSION
Red lenses receive dark shading and a glossy finish. Heat effects use successive translucent colours over metal at the muzzle. Painted chips and drybrushed dirt connect the armour to its base. Turning the miniature upside down makes the second eye easier to reach consistently with the painter’s dominant hand.
