INTERVIEW·WHITE DWARF 405

Power Armour: A Brief History

September 2013·pp. 90–94

THE SHORT VERSION

Andrew asks Jes Goodwin how successive Marine designs became distinct fictional marks of armour. A recognisable silhouette remains constant while helmets, plates and cabling change. The newer designers emphasise variety and the idea of equipment passed down through generations. Mixing components therefore expresses a veteran’s history as well as giving collectors more modelling choices.
