THE SHORT VERSION

Simon Grant’s opening Drop Pod assault falters against Andrew Kenrick’s Necron shielding, and concentrated shooting destroys the exposed Grey Hunters. A second wave brings Sigvald Deathgranter and Terminator-armoured veterans whose survival and counterattack turn the battle, forcing Drahvek to retreat. A later game against Simon Adams also favours the Wolves after an audacious charge cuts down a twenty-Warrior phalanx and its leader.
