Colours of the Empire
May 2012·pp. 47–53
THE SHORT VERSION
Chris Peach explains how provincial uniforms express the Empire’s political fragmentation even though the soldiers share common training and equipment. Fourteen colour guides cover the principal provinces and cities, with cross-references allowing a successful red, yellow or white sequence to be reused in several combinations. Together with the general material guides and the Empire army project, they give collectors a way to paint a consistent force from any of the featured states.
