Averland: Yellow & Black

THE SHORT VERSION

Averland soldiers combine a direct yellow progression from Averland Sunset through Yriel Yellow to Flash Gitz Yellow with the dark uniform method used for Nuln. The black’s grey definition and wash keep it restrained beside the bright cloth. This deliberately strong contrast gives the regiment a clear identity even among many colourful Empire provinces.

Painting Power Sources

A compact illustrated recipe shows a Canoptek Wraith’s energy source progressing from dark Caliban Green through Moot Green and a bright white centre. Waywatcher Green then glazes the layers together, returning the pale highlight to a glowing green hue.
