Ashes and Death: The Battle Unfolds

The Imperial and Eldar alliance pushes into the Nihilakh army to destroy its teleport array, facing mobile Ghost Striders, enhanced Immortals, Lychguard and massed Canoptek creatures. The fighting includes a subverted Wave Serpent firing on its allies and a personal challenge between Deathgranter and Krispekh. The defenders ultimately wreck the array at enormous cost, with the Phaeron and all four allied Warlords among the casualties, closing the first campaign turn without ending the invasion.
