Citadel Miniatures Painting Guide: Part One
April 2012·pp. 42–49
THE SHORT VERSION
A two-page matrix maps basecoats, washes, layers, drybrushing and glazes onto a wide selection of colours and materials, from blue armour and green flesh to bone, metals and textured bases. Eighteen illustrated model examples then show selected sequences in practice, including pale skin, red Daemons, white cloth and several metallic finishes. The guide encourages treating the combinations as a starting point for experimentation rather than a compulsory formula for every miniature.
