The Empire’s noble sons join brotherhoods that vary from ancient orders with houses across the realm to small religious communities based at a single temple. Each order’s traditions shape its symbols, practices and fighting style, while its presence reassures the common soldiers. Only selected Inner Circle knights gain the distinction of riding Demigryphs, whose claws and iron-hard beaks provide a different kind of striking power from an ordinary warhorse.
