Citadel Dry
April 2012·p. 39
THE SHORT VERSION
Steve Bowerman describes the unusually thick Dry compounds as paints intended to deposit pigment on raised texture with little waste. He advises using a dry brush and leaving the formulation undiluted, building the effect gradually rather than flooding details. Examples on bark, metal and fur show its range, and his Skeleton recipe combines a sandy base, sepia shade and white drybrush for a fast bone effect.
