Death Worlds of the Imperium

April 2012·pp. 76–77

THE SHORT VERSION

Death worlds remain valuable to the Imperium despite climates and ecosystems that make large settlements nearly impossible. Mineral resources, strategic position and hardy recruits justify the cost of maintaining outposts, and the same rewards attract rival invaders. An Administratum survey contrasts Fenris, Catachan, Sycorax and Luther Mcintyre, showing that deadly seasons, psychic storms, carnivorous forests and deserts can all fall under the same broad classification.
