Painting Space Wolves: Army Method
October 2009·pp. 26–27
THE SHORT VERSION
Chris recommends a production line that starts with undercoat and armour before moving to darker details. Short three-stage recipes cover red and grey hair, pale armour, yellow pads and fur. Spraying can scale the foundation to whole packs, although the armour wash is better controlled by hand. The method aims at a coherent army while leaving room for more refined character work.
