Wolf Guard: Pelts and Tails
October 2009·p. 91
THE SHORT VERSION
Neil mostly paints separate clumps instead of relying on broad drybrushing. Darker centres and lighter edges follow observations of animal fur. Tails lighten toward their ends, while the underside of the pelt receives a contrasting red-grey treatment. Two warm washes bring the highlighted surface back together.
