THE SHORT VERSION

Eight painters each draw a College and convert the plastic Battle Wizard to represent it. Entries range from heavily altered nature mages to restrained figures with intricate freehand. The painters explain palette, storytelling and selected modelling choices. Alan Merrett and Brian Nelson judge how convincingly each model represents its Order, awarding Darren’s Celestial Wizard the win.

Collectors Range: The Chase and Animosity Orcs

Two vignettes explore greenskin behaviour outside an orderly battle line. A hungry Goblin pursues a Squig while a larger beast follows him. In the second scene an Orc uses a nearby Goblin during a brawl. The figures demonstrate how the collectors range accommodates comic narrative subjects.
