Shrine of the Aquila: Construction and Painting
July 2009·pp. 80–81
THE SHORT VERSION
The modular shrine can join a city complex or become a tall independent ruin. Nick’s scheme contrasts aged stone, subdued gold, blue steel and glossy black. Spraying and circular drybrushing establish the large wall surfaces, followed by stippled damage. The guide gives the principal recipes as well as explaining the firing advantages of its height.
