Celestial Wizard: Three Blue Mixtures
July 2009·p. 89
THE SHORT VERSION
Darren deliberately works with a colour he does not usually favour. Three mixtures distinguish rich cloak, lighter robes and turquoise scarf while sharing a common blue foundation. Consistent shading and highlighting tie those surfaces together. Constellations, comet details and telescope additions turn a technical exercise into a clearly identifiable Celestial mage.
