PAINTING·WHITE DWARF 352

Glyph Plates and Exhausts

April 2009·p. 79

THE SHORT VERSION

Raised and recessed glyphs require different painting orders to keep cleanup straightforward. A limited palette preserves the colourfulness of Ork totems without overwhelming the whole model. Exhaust rust is built through repeated stippling. Darkened ends and final washes tie the pipes into the worn machinery.
