Fields of Battle: Osgiliath
April 2009·pp. 96–97
THE SHORT VERSION
An Anduin crossing divides the city battlefield into restricted approaches. Buildings protect flanks and support ambushes around the key objectives. Foam card, cereal-packet detail and even a pudding container create the ruined architecture. Ferry crossings leave formations vulnerable for a turn, making the river more than a decorative boundary.
