Fields of Battle: Helm’s Deep

THE SHORT VERSION

Two large boards recreate the final relief of the fortress. Towers and wall sections become separate defensible areas rather than requiring an entirely new siege system. A raised polystyrene plateau gives the Hornburg its height. The stream and broken walls shape movement around the arriving Rohirrim and the defenders’ sortie.
