THE SHORT VERSION
Escorting battle tanks and optional supporting vehicles form protective rings around a Shadowsword. The formation applies the logic of a naval battle group to open terrain. Smaller vehicles can absorb destruction that would otherwise reach more valuable engines. Its movement restrictions keep that layered protection together as the force advances.
