Painting Cavalry and Characters
April 2009·pp. 89–90
THE SHORT VERSION
Riders remain separate from their mounts to protect finished surfaces and improve access. Related brown shades vary the Wargs without making them look unrelated. Mounted and foot versions of a hero are painted together for consistency. More elaborate bases and selective contrast make those final characters stand out from the army.
