Painting Workshop: Armies
April 2009·pp. 84–91
THE SHORT VERSION
Chris plans an army around a tested dominant colour and a limited palette. Large batches, prepared bases and organised assembly keep the work moving. More detailed monsters and heroes become rewards after completing ordinary troops. His Mordor army shows how consistent colours can still create a varied rabble rather than a uniform regiment.
