RULES·WHITE DWARF 312

Treacherous Terrain

December 2005·pp. 108–109

THE SHORT VERSION

Adam Troke gives scenery effects that can matter as much as the objective placed within it. A statue supports nearby warriors of whichever alignment has priority, while Elven and haunted buildings impose Courage penalties on different inhabitants. Overgrown ruins slow everyone, including Elves, and count defeated fighters as trapped. The rules turn otherwise similar terrain pieces into distinct tactical spaces without requiring entirely new collections of scenery.
