Terrain and the Rules

September 2005·pp. 96–97

THE SHORT VERSION

The explanation separates literal scenery, such as a single building, from a representative area feature whose base defines its extent. Size categories determine cover and visibility, with a six-inch fringe allowing models to see into or out of area terrain. Haines also addresses an omitted rulebook clarification: players should agree which elevated positions provide a Size Three view, or a rarer taller category for exceptional towers, before the game begins.
