Painting Wood Elves: Seasonal Colours of Athel Loren
September 2005·pp. 64–69
THE SHORT VERSION
Steve Cumiskey uses seasonal palettes to unify Wood Elf warbands without imposing a regimented uniform. Three colour groups for each season can be redistributed across clothing and equipment, while common cloaks and bases hold the force together. Bow, jewel and herb-base recipes accompany Christian Byrne’s quick Glade Guard and more elaborate characters, including tattoos, unusual skin mixes and varied hair.
