Painting Workshop: Painting Ogres

January 2005·pp. 34–35

THE SHORT VERSION

Large Ogre bodies benefit from intermediate skin layers, while Gnoblars use a much quicker green-and-grey treatment. The workshop also shows brass, bright steel, verdigris and stippled rust, then explains how shared red skin decorations can unify a tribe whose members have neither matching uniforms nor tidy heraldry.
